The media lost it’s mind over President Trump tweeting out his support of peaceful Iranians who are protesting their corrupt government. Normally the liberal media would support something like this. But since Donald Trump said it they must be against it.
“Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime’s corruption & its squandering of the nation’s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people’s rights, including right to express themselves. The world is watching! #IranProtests,” tweeted President Trump.
Former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice tweeted that Trump should just keep his mouth shut. “How Can Trump Help Iran’s Protesters? Be Quiet,” she wrote with a link to a New York Times article. “With humility about how little we know about what’s happening inside Iran, this much is clear: it’s an Iranian moment and not anyone else’s. But the rights of people to protest peacefully and voice their aspirations are universal and governments everywhere should respect that,” tweeted Former Secretary of State John Kerry.
“Profoundly moving to watch those seeking freedom in Iran. Patriots afar remind us of the patriots who won our own freedom and also those who preserve it. Heroes all,” tweeted Mitt Romney. Do you think that Republicans are on the right side of history?
